SADE ADEEYO, LPC

Sade Adeeyo is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University. She provides individual and couple’s therapy with expertise in trauma, substance abuse and sex therapy.

Sade provides psychotherapy to adults and couples with diverse racial, ethnic, class, gender and sexual identities. She is social justice minded and takes care and consideration around the intersectionalities that impact identity and well-being. Sade's approach to care is person-centered, collaborative, and she is of the fundamental belief that we are experts of our own lived experiences and that we can all access healing. When working with couples, she incorporates the use of Imago Therapy.

Grounded in a high level of empathy, you can expect nonjudgemental, trauma-informed, compassionate, guidance from Sade. She takes care to build trust and authenticity in the therapeutic alliance. Sade's clinical interest areas include: identity, trauma, spirituality, intimacy, anxiety, depression, and addiction. Sade has special training in Imago Therapy for couples, Trauma Focused CBT, Substance use and abuse counseling, and sex therapy.
