<image:caption>Individual Therapy The therapeutic relationship is the most important component of the therapy process and we recognize that getting started can feel intimidating. It may help to know that our initial goal is to create a comfortable, trusting, and collaborative relationship with you. Some people may enjoy more directed or guided therapy while others want it to be less interactive. As you get to know your clinician you will work together to find the style that feels most comfortable to you and will be most advantageous in reaching your goals.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Couples Therapy "... I realize here is this other person who is separate and different and has different memories and backgrounds and thoughts and feelings. It's that tension between familiarity and mystery that makes for something strong, because, even as you build a life of trust and comfort and mutual support, you retain some sense of surprise or wonder about the other person." Barak Obama All couples go through challenges. We work with couples looking to improve connection, work through challenges, reduce feelings of anger and resentment, and improve communication. In couple’s work, you may explore current disruptive behavior patterns, as well as, personal histories, in an effort to increase understanding and compassion for one another. Couples may work with their therapist to rebuild closeness, trust, intimacy, warmth and/or to redefine the relationship in a way that meets their needs.</image:caption>
